Shrine Welcomes Religious Sisters from the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy
On Oct. 18, 2016, the Saint John Paul II National Shrine welcomed two members of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy to the staff of the Shrine. Sister Donata Farbaniec and Sister Gaudia Skass, both from their order’s house in Kraków, Poland, will work with our many pilgrimage groups and share the powerful message of Divine Mercy. As part of their work, the sisters will also lead the Prayer at the Hour of Mercy followed by the Chaplet to Divine Mercy at 3 p.m. every day.
Both Sister Donata and Sister Gaudia are very excited to engage in their ministry at the Shrine and to share the powerful message of mercy given to their sister, St. Faustina Kowalska, by Jesus Christ.
