Divine Mercy at the Shrine
The Saint John Paul II National Shrine is pleased to be able to work cooperatively with the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy to help foster and spread the Divine Mercy message that was entrusted to St. Faustina and that St. John Paul II was so instrumental in bringing to the world.
3:00 p.m.: The Hour of Mercy
The hour of Christ’s Passion – when Jesus died for the salvation of all – is remembered daily at 3:00 p.m. with special reflections and prayer to the Divine Mercy. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
Evenings with the Merciful Jesus
Young adults and the young at heart are invited to join the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy for an Evening with the Merciful Jesus at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd day of each month. Each evening will include adoration with praise and worship, confession, and a talk by one of the Sisters. Light refreshments and small group reflection follow at 8:30 p.m.
Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy The charism of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy is to “cooperate with the Mercy of God (The Divine Mercy) in the work of rescuing lost souls.” More about the Congregation, their spirituality, and their work can be found here.
