DIVINE MERCY AT THE SHRINE

Sister Donata speaks to a group at the JP2 Shrine.

The Saint John Paul II National Shrine is pleased to be able to work cooperatively with the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy to help foster and spread the Divine Mercy message that was entrusted to St. Faustina and that St. John Paul II was so instrumental in bringing to the world.

3:00 p.m.: The Hour of Mercy

The hour of Christ’s Passion – when Jesus died for the salvation of all – is remembered daily at 3:00 p.m. with special meditation according to Jesus’ wishes and prayer with the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the intentions of all the pilgrims and benefactors as well as the whole aching mankind.

Evenings with the Merciful Jesus

Young adults and the young at heart are invited to join the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy for an Evening with the Merciful Jesus at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd day of each month. Each evening will include adoration with praise and worship, confession, and a talk by one of the Sisters. Light refreshments and small group reflection follow at 8:30 p.m. (Note: If the 22nd of the month falls on a Sunday, EMJ will take place on the day before, Saturday the 21st. Please check our Events calendar to confirm each month's date.)
